WAYUU HANDBAG

The Wayuu are an indigenous tribe living in the northernmost peninsula of Colombia. Over thousands of years, they have developed a unique weaving technique.

Weaving is one of the most culturally important practices in Wayuu society. They learn to create many different patterns at a very young age.

They then utilize these techniques and patterns in their handcrafted goods. Most notably the "Wayuu bag".

The Wayuu treat each Wayuu bag as a blank canvas to tell their personal stories. It conveys their thoughts, passion, and heart making each handmade Wayuu bag unique and special.
